THE MY PASSION, MY LIFE SCHOLARSHIP
The My Passion, My Life Scholarship is a $1,000 award that helps subsidize relocation costs for students and recent graduates who have accepted summer internships. According to CNBC, on average it costs around $13,000 for an intern to live in a major city for 3 months. Although around 75% of large businesses hire interns, many students face financial hurdles such as, relocation and cost of living, that prevent them from accepting their offers.
Since 2017 we have been committed to helping young people break down these financial barriers as they turn their passion into a life.

“As a Cameroonian-born creative, I am passionate about photographing and writing about the Africa that they don't show you, as well as the one they do. Africa has a plethora of young creatives transforming their communities, and I desire to share their stories and the impact of their stories with the rest of the world. My Cape Town internship with Pure Creative Agency and the "My Passion, My Life" scholarship will help me to partner with clients both inside and outside of the Cape Town community who are willing to share their stories and inspire my generation, and future generations, to be limitless with their creativity. With a B.Sc. in Journalism from Liberty University's class of 2019, I am preparing to embark on a journey of re-presenting Africa.”

2019 SCHOLARSHIP JUDGES
The judges are responsible for reviewing candidates and mentoring the recipient of the award.
