if you need your faith + peace strengthened, this is for you.

A PRAYER FOR YOU:

Father God, thank you for being so faithful to me. Thank you for the love and grace you’ve continuously poured over my life, especially during this time.

Thank you for reminding me that you still have good plans for me, plans to give me a future and a hope. Thank you for reminding me that you are still in the business of exceeding expectations and you will accomplish infinitely more than I ask, think or imagine. When things don’t go according to my plan, I will trust in you and believe that your ways and thoughts are higher than mine. When I go through rivers of difficulty, I will trust in you and believe that I will not drown as you’ve promised me in your Word.

Even when challenges arise, I will put my faith in your promises and trust that you are causing everything to work together for my good. When I am weak and have come to the end of myself, I will rely on your strength because you said your power works best in my weakness. When my situation feels hopeless and I start to doubt the promises you’ve spoken over my life, I pray that you would remind me that you are not a man, so you don’t lie and you are not human, so you don’t change your mind. When things start to feel impossible, bring me back to your Word that says what is impossible for people, is possible for you. Remind that you are a God who is able to do the impossible.

Lord, dismantle the spirit of worry in my life and help me to just seek you first, so everything else will be added unto me. Remind me that my help comes from you alone. Not the world, not people, not things, but only you. Remove the spirit of anxiety in my life, but instead give me the grace to pray about everything, tell you what I need and thank you for all you’ve done, so the peace that surpasses all understanding can guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

When I start to question myself and who you’ve called me to be, remind me that I am your masterpiece, created anew in Christ, so I can do the good things you’ve planned for me long ago. Increase my faith and give me the grace to believe in what I hope for and the things I cannot yet see.  Even when it doesn’t feel like it, I trust that you are doing things in my life that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and no mind has imagined.

I rebuke the spirit of fear and receive the spirit of power, love and self-discipline that you’ve given to me in abundance. Thank you for always being with me and never leaving or forsaking me.

Amen.
